Thats the trouble with planning a trip when the weather can change. Driving to Reno, leaving sometime tomm around 4pm for a 7 hour drive and the weather outlook is terrible. And it shows the same outlook from Bend OR all the way to Reno. (although totaly clear right now) I think I just need to quit looking at the report as it just works me up even more.......
.Its a gamble right! Im betting on clear roads. Slacker |

You're in BEND, Slacker?
So when you get to Canby, CA... do you turn RIGHT and go past Eagle Lake & Susanville ... or LEFT and pass Alturas & Likely (and A-3 by pass at Standish) ?
As I recall, Alturas route is 17 miles further, but not as high elevation and straighter road & easier to pass that slow Winnebago. |
