The rumor of them raising qualifying totals for their cards
are in print now. and they bumped 7 stars to 150K, but they
thru in some Bonus's if you play a long time on the same
same day. Bring your nodoz!

If any of you haven't read it yet, Harrah's is upping
the Tier credits for their top three cards. as in
5000 for Platinum
15000 for Diam.
150'000K for 7 Stars.
That sucks. Sad

Move the goal posts during the game?

I am SHOCKED ! (not)

If they'd cheat you out of their super secret double plus mysterious point system, what are the chances they'd cheat on gaming payouts?

I was also read that the official thresholds on Caesar's website have not changed. It seems to be a bad rumor??

Actually it makes no difference to me as my sub 500 tier credits should keep my aluminum foil status intact. Smile

I hear that, I made Platinum in Sept. and haven't see any change in the
offers, It does give me an extra C note in their Keno tourns,
but that's it.

Swede, you made it to Aluminum Foil status?! Awesome!

I'm still trying to get to Metal-Shavings-From-Lathe status, and it's a slow climb, indeed...

Keep spinning, and keep winning, as the masters say...

Wow! If it's for real, my timing was perfect as I just reached Diamond Status! However, I recall the same thing happening sometime early last year, where about 800-1000 points got added to reach Platinum.

spdmrcht - Congrats on the upgrade! I too noticed that there wasn't an incredible amount of difference between Gold and Platinum; however, I too started getting additional free play and tournament offers in the hundreds range vs. the mainstream $20-50 I was getting beforehand being Gold. I don't seem to recall ever getting weekly freeplay like I do now, but I think that's what they do whenever you hit a jackpot, which I didn't do for the first time there since this year.

All these years and I'm still trying to figure out their system. I'm still thinking it has more to do with being a consistent, loyal player than blowing tons of money. No complaints either way though (saying so because the place has been my makeshift apartment these past 4 months!)

about being a Harrah's Reg, customer is the Rooms, You can get get
Free rooms just about every where during the week and on weekends
during the off season. I'm headed to Laughlin, then to Vegas for 6 days
comped rooms. I would much rather spend my $$ in a casino then a
Room that I'm only in 5-6 hrs a day.

spdmrcrt- You were way ahead of the curve. It seems that your information was pretty good. Somehow (???) I seem to be on the Seven Star's mailing list. It is always nice to see how all the privileged people live--- and likes to complain. Anyway- they were able to obtain an internal memo about changes to the system. It looks like they are bringing in some kind of bonus system, so of course they have to up the requirements. p.s. I am glad to see that Gold is still free.

I don't believe the Bonus's are going to get a whole lot of takers
except maybe Rich widows. At $12'500 cash in to get 2500TCs from
slots and $25'000 in for VP! And that's all in one casino day, what
ever that is? I don't know when their clock starts and stops. LOL Rolling Eyes

I gave up on figuring out Harrah's point system.

All I ever get is, "So sorry, you haven't been here for (insert any random time period here) and we just purged your points last week.

JD I am with you. I have had no interest in figuring out the Harrah's system, but I started to look at this bonus system. It looks like a person could obtain Diamond with a couple of days of play.

A $1 video poker player that can play at a pace of 600 hands an hour (not really fast) could earn the 2500 tier credits in 8 hours and twenty minutes. This would qualify you for the 5000 bonus tier credits. Do the same thing the next day and you would have 15,000 tier credits. This is the Diamond level. Diamond level with 17 hours (also allowing a person 20 minutes of cocktail waitress oogling)of $1 video poker play.

Now- I just need someone to bankroll me to give this a try.
Ha! Good luck on that happening.

All casinos have been playing the same scam for years.

FIRST, they change the amount of play to be bumped to the next level.
SECONDLY, they change the points needed to move up.
NEXT, they add levels on the top (silver, gold, diamond, double diamond, triple diamond, platinum, suckeronium)
FINALLY they either change systems (like Sands/Beach Club/Terribles/A-Play) or erase your points.

They learned this scam from the airlines' frequent flyer clubs that all were diluted to being worthless.

Kick the football, Charlie Brown. They PROMISE not to pull it away this time.

Oh... THEN the casino changes hands (Siena) and you instantly become a bum.

The only thing I have figured out for sure, I think? Is You lose your
tier credits on Jan. 1st every year. you only lose your Reward credits
which are your comp. credits, if you haven't earned even one credit in the last 6 mo. there are a lot of ways to earn them, eat or play at any
Harrahs place or buy some thing online thru harrahs marketplace.
I've had my reward credits for 3 yrs but haven't found what I want
to use them on yet.LOL

A little clarification.

You can earn more Caesers RCs by going through the TR Marketplace.

You can spend your Caesers RCs by going through the TR Catalog.

Just yesterday, I spent 40000 RCs to become $200 in airline vouchers for my upcoming trip to Vegas/Reno in May.
