There must be one or two that visit this board, right? Anyway,... she's helping Harrah's Tahoe open their new night club Feb. 16. From the RGJ:
"Paris Hilton will be making an appearance at the opening of a new casino nightclub in Lake Tahoe next month.
Harrah’s Lake Tahoe announced Thursday that Peek Nightclub, a $1 million, 6,700 square-foot state-of-the-art, live entertainment venue, will open Feb. 16.
Hilton, described by Harrah’s as a “mega-celebrity and power-socialite,” said she’s excited to host the grand opening." |

I am no fan, but I have always wondered why anyone would care about her. Has she done anything but party?
I wonder where the new club will be located. Or are they just re-naming the present Vex club? |

I've never heard anything good that she has done!
Couldn't care less! |

I joined Facebook so I could enter a Safeway contest. I don't have any friends - but that's just me. One thing I did learn thru Facebook is that the Vex Club is closing and will be replaced by the Peek nightclub.
I'm not a Paris Hilton fan either, but she's got a huge page on Wikipedia. I couldn't read even a tenth of it, but I did glean that she makes a ton of money. If she moved to Reno and partied all the time our troubles would be over. |

BC Dave now has a friend on Facebook, and two more are on the way. Surprisingly, none of them are Paris Hilton. |

Never much cared for Paris... France, Hilton or plaster of.
All are over rated, over priced and better seen on TV where the channel can be quickly changed. |

Not one fan on our otherwise-glitz-addicted board?
But really, is "fan" even the right word? Generally, you must produce a skill of some kind to acquire either fans or detractors - the celebrity of Paris Hilton, from what my limited research tells me, is entirely a product of her home-porno-turned-internet-sensation-tape.
You may question whether that is a valid criterion for the kind of fame subsequently bestowed on her, but does any of us really think her so unattractive that we would turn our heads if her tape were being displayed before us?
Admit it. We are all Paris Hilton fans now. And I'd like to welcome her to her newfound Reno/Tahoe region status - who are we to shun celebrity presence at our fair denizens of decadence?? |

Stan, you made me realize I love her! That was easy. |

For all you less than avid Paris Hilton fans, you may love House of Wax, a movie in which she "acted" in 2005. In the movie, she receives a metal pole through the head which, meeting no resistance, kills her. |
