I'm thinking of revamping the parks section photo galleries of visitreno.com and would appreciate your opinions. Please be kind enough to give your opinions of the following two choices. Keep in mind concepts such as functionality, coolness and helpfulness.
Option one
Option two
Thanks for your help! |

I like Option 1.
Personally, I like thumbnails so I can go to whatever my eye is drawn to.
Option 2 strikes me as "Look what I can do with my website!" |

Parks? There are PARKS in Reno?
Always a good reminder for those of us that fail to visit the mother ship site on occasion.
I'd vote for # 1 if it was a choice. I like to think I'm more familiar with more of the outside casinos than the average tourist. Still I am unfamiliar with most of these parks or their location. I found myself checking google maps for a pin map to show WHERE these parks are.
What kind of slot machines do they have at these "PARKS" you speak of?
(Great pics by the way) |

I will give another vote for #1. The other option is a little too --- Geee Wizzee for me. (Spell check did not like that!)
If your looking for another project, Offerings from UNR link is all about 2012. |

Thanks for your votes.
Mjames, look what I can do with my website. Sorry, I'm into fun stuff
JD, the parks have "Ducks in a Row" slots
CaSwede, I gave up on the UNR thing - way too much work. Did you find the link at the bottom of a page? I thought I had killed all of them. |

I like 1, 2 is way to active, I'm a slow looker so would prefer to
do it my self! But 2 is neat. |

Thank you again.
CaSwede, I pulled that link after your last post. Guess I missed it the first time around.
spdmrcht, the time between frames can be changed and the slide show can be stopped by hovering on the image and clicking the pause button, but I guess most people won't see that.
BC Dave: Option 3 it is. I'll send you 384 photos for you to work your magic.
Mammothgambler: Don't let the others sway you. Go with 2, go with 2.
Oddly enough, everyone I showed this to (non-board members) likes option 2. No clicking and cleaner page look were the most popular reasons. Well, I have the rest of my life to decide whether to update to the new format. |

I like option 1. I like being able to click on whatever i want to view. Never have been a fan of the slideshows. You did a good job with it. Just not my preferred viewing method. |

I'll vote for #2, just to be a contrarian. No, really; what's wrong with a little razzle-dazzle??
But overall, I have to cast my vote with JD, again: just what the heck ARE these outdoor spaces with that burning, glowing thing hanging in the sky?
There's not a cocktail waitress in sight, and I can't even find the rules board or the odds chart for the sportsbook. The visuals are sort of interesting, but how do you get to the bonus round?
Plus, their offers have been pitiful lately. |

John - well, secretly, I do like option 2. BUT - I'm not much into Flash these days, because you can't view the content on smartphones! (Can you tell I'm still just sitting around with absolutely nothing to do?!? haha!)
And Hi Alison and PEB, great to see you all, it's been awhile!
