Today (May 20th) is our great webmaster's birthday - and it's a milestone! I'm sure you'll all want to join me in wishing John a Very Happy Birthday!
John, I hope the casinos remember it's your big day and dump a load of comps at your door. In any event have a great one!
Here's my idea for a Da Vinci Diamonds type slot/ birthday card........

Happy birthday, and thanks for giving us Reno enthusiasts a nonjudgmental place to talk about our weird affection for the ol' broad! |

Just like real slots, the most valuable icon is buried on the fifth reel in the middle... no chance of a win. |

Thanks, everyone for the birthday wishes. Sorry for the delay in responding, but the party lasted a little longer than expected. Of course, at age 70, everything lasts longer than expected.
I'm winding down by listening to beautiful piano music, compliments of BC Dave, snuggling with Charlie and Higgins and sipping hot chocolate. There - now I feel like a senior citizen.
I got a special treat on my birthday...Jerry sent me an email full of good wishes. Seems he spent his 3rd consecutive winter at Lake Havasu City. He hopes to revisit the board soon.
Thanks again for the b-day wishes. It's time for my nap. |

Sounds like you had a good time, John. It would be a treat to hear from Jerry. |

Sorry to be so late with the birthday wishes; Mrs. Allen and I took a non-Reno trip, which of course, would not interest anyone here.
So, Happy Birthday to John, our esteemed webmaster and overlord of visitreno.com - the biggest little Reno travel-related website on Earth! |

Darn it I know there was something I needed to do last Monday, now I'll have to wait a whole year to annoy you on that special day of yours.
well a belated Birthday wish to you, hope you had as much fun as a blind prospector in a cactus field... |

Stan, I'm surprised you go places other than Reno. I thought everyone only came here.
For those of you who don't know, Sockmonkey (who is appropriately named) and I have a history. Now our lives are full of bitter resentment toward each other. She tried to poison me once, so I stabbed her in the thigh, then she threw me out of a second story window, but her convertible broke my fall and I got off with a mild concussion. In retaliation, I shot her dog, but it suffered only a minor wound. That's all lies. She's actually one of my favorite people. We just enjoy annoying each other. Thanks M, for being there and for forgetting to bother me on Monday. |

Yes as Mr Reno has implied we do have a past,I think it started when he started dating my mother in 1935.....It wasn't till they no longer had a relationship ,that he shot my dog and I threw him out the window. I wouldn't have thought to do such a thing ,but he took my dog to a bar and then out to dinner....Let's not air our dirty laundry in public, lets just hang it in the bath room where it belongs...That my friends is a true and almost accurate narrative of my past dealings with MR Reno...I only purposely forgot to annoy you on Monday because when I move back to town I will have plenty of days and time to do it in person, and I wanted to give you a false sense if security, so get plenty of rest J ,I still have plenty of pay backs in the works, your Friend till the end..M |
