I think what PrincessaMyron is refering to is the practice of slipping the hotel desk clerk a $20 bill with your credit card while asking if they have any complimentary upgrades available. Usually, they will give you the upgrade if one is available or return your $20. Some clerks have been known to keep the tip, even if no upgrades are available. In this case, you're out $20, but have the warm feeling of making someone's Christmas a little merrier.
Sorry PM, but I don't know if it works in the downtown casinos. I think someone posted here a while back about having success at the Peppermill with this trick. |

Ah, AKA Greasing the palm! It's probably going to work most of the
time, they have a lot of MT rooms to fill in the off times. If your trying
for the Eldro. Reservation desk ask for Candy, she is the best I have found for getting me the rooms and the entrys to the tournaments I'm looking for.
and I have never had to grease her palm. Shes the best. |

Greetings - LOVE having the name of someone for whom to ask specifically. Is she at the phone reservations (the general one we call) or is she in person at the reservation/check-in counter?
Any guidance would be very much appreciated!
Thanks - lauren |
