I see Harrah's Reno website does not list Andreotti's as one of their restaurants. We once had meal in Andreotti's but that was due to their coffee shop (Cafe Napa?) being closed. So we had a coffee shop meal in this quaint, intimate Italian setting.
I had a quick look at the wayback-machine for HarrahsReno.com and Andreotti's was on their website back on Jan 31st, 2004. http://web.archive.org/web/20040204001010/http://www.harrahs.com/our_casinos/ren/dining/index.html
I don't know what Andreotti's history has been since then. |

In a similar vein: Siena renamed Lexi's/ DaVinci's to "Whitewater. And they closed the coffee shop to put in a "Johnny Rocket" which was kicked out of GSR to make room for "LEX", the $ 15 million nightclub. |

We used to eat at Andreotti's all the time before we discovered the Steakhouse. In fact, my favorite seat in Reno for many, many years was there overlooking the crazy cheesy lights of the Cal-Neva.
When we were in Reno in December, Andreotti's was closed. So, it opened the past few months? Without fanfare? Hmmmmm. |

I've never been in it, or even seen a sign, but I'm guessing that
it must be to the right of the top of the escalator when your coming
up from the main casino in the west tower? That's about the only
place I've never been in! They are having a platinum Brunch and
drawing there in may. |

I went to harrahsreno.com's restaurant page and found Harrah's Steak House, Starbucks, Joy Luck Noodle Bar, Quiznos, Hash House A Go Go, Carvings Buffet, Ichiban, and Harrah's Steak House (yes, it's listed twice).
I called the property at about 7:00 am, asked if Andreotti's is still open and was transferred to an unspecified phone that went unanswered. This leads to one conclusion: Andreotti's isn't open at 7:00 am on Tuesday's. |

We ate there once, years ago. Our view also included pigeons "getting together" right outside our window. No extra charge. |

Yes, I"d like to know if you went in as well.
The signage is still there, although the place closed years ago. As noted, when we were there in December, the signage was up, but the restaurant was mothballed. |

Well we went to the Iron gates and looked in. There was still tables and
chairs in it and the drapes were open and we could see Cal Neva thru
the windows. The Platinum Buffet and drawing is going to be held there
on 5/4/14, so maybe they are getting ready to open it for use again.
They need another eatery choice. |
