Getting excited! Been almost 2 years since I was in Reno. Can't believe it. I will attempt a trip report when I return. So I'm curious, when you go to reno do you have your money divided out day by day, or just have a certain amount for the entire trip and use it as you feel? How much do you like to bring, strictly for gambling. I split my money up for each day. |

Hi Alison, I find that all I can really organize is what to take with me and what to bring back (and when). All other plans fly out the window the moment I walk out into the casino and get a drink.
Seriously though, it's not a bad idea to split your cash up according to the number of days you're going to be in town. Some Hotel-Casinos have those complimentary in-room safes. But those that don't still offer free safety deposit boxes at the cashier's cage.
Here's wishing you lotsa luck at your castle! |

I take 500 for a 2nighter, and with any luck I am playing on their money
after the first day. But, some times that doesn't happen and I have to
write a check or use my marker at cal neva which isn't cashed for
30 days. Or write a check at Harrahs, which is cashed in about 3 or 4 days.
But I Never, Never, ever go over K note. and I always have a great tiime
eating, playing and see a show, and visit the pawn shops to see what I
can't live with out!! Enjoy your trip, and play on their $$$ ps. I use
comped rooms and always try to get in at least one Tournament or two. |

Well have a great time. Money management? I have none, but after reading some of your trip reports you might consider putting aside some bail money........just in case. |

Hi Ali. The closest I come to money management is managing to give it all to the casinos. Speaking of which, I put some money for you to win in some machines at the Peppermill.
Have a fun and profitable trip and be sure to tell us all about it. |

I to manage to give it all to the casino John, just not in one day. lol. Can't wait to get there. We are flying and i am not a big fan of flying. Especiallly into Reno. I have a valium i could take, but not sure if i will. Oh and i will be slitting my money up, putting it in the safe. I am hoping i can win enough to not have to spend all my money. Of course that rarely happens. |
