|
|
I'm going to Reno for the first time and am wondering if they also have shrimp cocktails in abundance like Vegas does. I've been to Vegas many times and have always liked the shrimp cocktails everywhere you turn and am hoping I can find them in Reno also. Anyone know where I can find them in Reno? |

If your looking for the 99 cent one's, I'm not sure, but Atlantis and peppermill have really good, seafood Joints, Cal neva might have
them, they have every thing else, or maybe the nugget across the
the street from Harrahs? I did a search and they say the Sands
hotel has them, they are a couple blocks west of the eldorado casino.
Enjoy. |

Reno is not a shrimp cocktail (or a quick food on the run) town in the way that LV is -- and FWIW, I wouldn't trust a 99 cent shrimp cocktail anywhere! But Reno is an all you can eat sushi town extraordinaire! It's not exactly walk and eat, but it's a nice alternative to casino buffets.
Just about every sushi restaurant in town has AYCE. Most charge $18 for lunch and $24 for dinner. The competition is stiff, so there are plenty of decent places -- my Asian colleagues rave about the quality of AYCE sushi in Reno. Things can change fast in sushiland, so check yelp for the best recent reviews, and also check for happy hours, as you can sometimes get cheap drinks with your AYCE sushi.
Kanpai!
Hope you like Reno! _________________ Everyone knows it's unlucky to be superstitious! |

The Oceano restaurant at the Peppermill has a fried shrimp basket with a pile of fries for about $17. It isn't "all you can eat", but for most people, it is all you can eat. I always leave comfortably full. I normally eat there once or twice a month. Everyone I have taken there was very happy with the meal. |

Not really looking for the .99 shrimp cocktail, but maybe any that might be easier to get instead of sitting down for a dinner service. Thank you so much! I really appreciate all the advice. [/i] |

Most of the oyster bars will have the shrimp cocktails. Atlantis, peppermill,
and silver legacy would be my choice for Reno. |

Ok, if your looking for peel and eat shrimp, it's the Brews Bros at the over crossing to the SL. They used to give a huge bowl full that took 2 big eaters to finnish, but now enough for one big eater. |
