Allegiant Air is starting regular service to Reno from Bellingham Washington on May 25! This is great news for those of us north of the border as Bellingham Airport is only about 20 miles south of the border. Sea-Tac is more like 120.

This is great. I usually fly Southwest, but they have cut back their Non stop flights. Now if you want to fly non stop, you have to leave very early in the morning, or wait until night. I hope they start running specials like they do to Vegas. |

Allegiant Air has been flying out of Fresno, Ca to Las Vegas for many years. I have flown with them several times and have been impressed. The staff is very friendly and they only use MD-80 jets, no tiny Turbo-prop planes. Keep an eye out in your local paper travel section or their website, they offer quite a few deals like BOGO.

This where moderator, Hawk, is supposed to explain to dummies like me what "BOGO" is. At first, I thought it must be a discount airline, but, a little research on the net brought me up to speed. It stands for "Buy One Get One" - free.
Thanks Mustangmike I'll keep an eye on Allegiant for those BOGOs!
