Hey Everyone,
Got back yesterday from the ocean. It was sunny and beautiful the whole time. i wish i could live there...... Sure am glad my husbands parents have this house for us to use.
No luck at the casinos there. Shocking!! We played at Spirit Mountain and Chinook Winds. They were announcing lots of Jackpots at Spirit Mountain, but none of them came our way.
Thought i would post a couple pics from my trip.
In spirit of the 4th of july...
View of Sunset from house....
Seals relaxing in the Sun.....
View of beach....
Another Sunset pic...
23 days and counting till reno!!! Whoo Hoooo...

Now if we could just get that beach to Reno, all the problems would be over..... |

Hey Alison,
Great pics! And only in the 70's? Good surf too? Y'all must've been loving it. That beach definitely deserves to be in Reno. Sorry you didn't have any big winnings...hopefully your trip to Reno will be much better and the Pep will do you right.

yup! Only problem now is that I'm fighting with 'em because they are not honoring their "Best Rate Guarantee" that the other user, Darlinerene, pointed out here. They were actually being quite rude when I pointed out that one of the third-party websites is offering the same room for those 3 days but with a savings of over $200 vs. their "Casino Rate!" They said "Casino Rate" is the best they could do, so I'm cancelling with them and booking with gotorenotahoe.com. 200 bucks is 200 bucks! Only problem is that I won't be able to apply comps to the room stay but would you rather pay $500 for a weekend, or $750? It's kinda like I already got comped!

What do you mean they arent honoring it? Thats BS
Dont do anything yet. I am going to ask my friend at the pep.
Did you follow the instructions on the peps site? it says you are supposed to e-mail them within 24 hours of booking. |

He suggested talking to the Reservation Supervisor. If you have no luck there, then let me know.

Hey Alison! Thanks for all your help on this. I'm at work now but when I get home later I can forward you all the emails and stuff...can you send me your email address in a PM? I think it may be a situation where I'm just not getting through to the right people but this has been an unanswered email (and a rather snotty reservations person) so far! She even told me to cancel, and to book with them!
thanks

Try to call back later and speak with a supervisor. If that does not work, then e-mail me back and let me know. |
