Hawk, give me a break and don't delete my "non-related" thread.
But my extended softball trip to NO CA is nearing an end. Currently on a streak of 13 hits in 14 at bats and my team has cruised into first place by knocking off the big guys.
Now, the relative part: I am trying to find the time )(and the pheone) to lmake plans for a few days in Reno. I'll keep you posted.
Ali, I must say that John's lies to you are more positive than the ones he relates to me when he plays my free money.
thanks for the reports and comments from everyone on Ali's trip. |

People are wearing down, I guess.
No one, thus far, has related my trip subject above to Ali's new avatar. |

Got us there, Jerry - you snuck in a funny, and caught us totally unawares.
Making funny subject lines is fun, but the text is so minuscule and non-prominent - web guys, can we bump up the text size on the subject lines or something, so they're less easily missed? Or would that require tearing down everything and starting over again? |

It would be easy, but I don't feel like doing it. |

The man makes a good point; how could I not have thought of this objection??
My apologies! |

Well, I don't know what Jo;hn "feels like".
And, more importantly, I DON'T CARE TO KNOW WHAT HE FEELS LIKE!!
But he is a nice guy --- from a respectable distance. |

Or, I wouldn't mind that back in my future.
Sorry, Jerry, but I didn't catch the relevance of the subject till too late.
C'est la vie.
So. just cause Stan asked so politely (as he always does), I am trying to merember to put my subjects in caps.
Anything (well almost anything) to please and encourage one of our best posters.
I wonder if my new high-flying Hawk avatar is up yet.
(aside to John: yeah, you're right Big Guy. That was a disgusting avatar idea.) |

We are losing a bit in the translation here, I just noticed. did the change in avatar come about because of the following subject lines?
"Nearing an End"
"Back to the Future"
"Backing into this one"
"Tiny you-know-what"
"Bitter end"
" " This title was attributed to John. Great one, John, what a mind! |
