Does anyone know which casinos offer free slot play and how it works?
My husband and I are planning a December trip to Reno, and I'm wondering if it's really worth the time to stand in line and sign up for the players cards.
Any information about comps would be appreciated. We currently only have Fitzgerald's cards and are taking advantage of the free room offer on our upcoming trip, which is great.
Thanks |

The Peppermill has a free slot play promotion. They will reimburse you up to $100.00 of your losses that you have within your first hour pf play.
A little advice though, when you are playing anf you are up, cash out your ticket and insert more cash. My friend learned this after the fact. |

The Sands has a good sign up bonus. See my post further down the list:

Cal Neva advertises a $200 sign up bonus, but I understand they have a lot of hoops to go through. ?? Someone else may know details.
Alison- What is the story behind cashing out when you are ahead at the Pepp? I have never had any poblem. Or is this only for the sign up bonus? |

This only applies to the sign up bonus. My friend got kinda screwed because she was up money, and instead of inserting a new bill in a machine she was using the ticket she was up with. When she went to redem her fre eplay, she did not get as much as she would have if she had started with new bills. I know sounds weird, but they explained it to her at the time. This was awhile ago. |

Circus gives you a free tournament entry and $5 in free play when you sign up, and $50 in free play if you earn 200 pts ($2000 coin in on video poker) in your first 24 hrs with the card. Oh, and free daily swipes of your card in the promo machine nobody wins on. It's ok to play there -- just don't stay there!
BTW, yes it's worth the time to get the cards. The most valuable offers will come in the mail and over the internet after your trip, and lines aren't too bad in Reno, especially in December.
Have a good trip! _________________ Everyone knows it's unlucky to be superstitious! |

Thank you all for your help! Time is so precious while we're down there - I didn't want to waste time standing in lines to get player's cards if it wasn't really worth it! |
