|

Okay, you have to rearrange the letters, but there are words that contain the name of our favorite city. In fact, "Oregon" is what first got me thinking about this, as so many of our visitors are from that region - but there are words that are not proper nouns which also contain the letters necessary to spell "Reno", so here's my entries:
Ornery
Onerous
Enormous
Entropy
Torrent
I'll not bother with an exhaustive list, as I think this illustrates the point, but if any others jump to mind, feel free to add to it! |

No, Alison, the real tragedy is that I absolutely do NOT have sufficient time on my hands to waste on such absurd trivia, but I do it anyway!
I can assure you, Mrs. Allen is none too pleased! |

Thank you! Finally, someone who knows how to play the game!
Gee, for people who are scientific experts on slot machines, payouts, club points, and sophisticated adult beverages, this board seems to have been bamboozled by my little challenge.
What a feeling! I should open a casino.
More? No?
(Note use of the word "Reno" in the above query.) |

Ornithological sounded good to me but i can't find the "E".
So, I'll go with Brontosaurus. Oops where's the E again. It's supposed to be our most commonly used letter.
I'll work on it, Stan. |

I'm sorry y'all, but it's not very difficult to find words containing the letters r, e, n, and o! However, how many words contain reno in order?
Here's another:

Well, of course - we are a people who like slot machines; who wants a "Difficult" game??
But your challenge is a good one, and that word certainly eluded my painstaking search. Kudos!
(Still, I'm pretty proud of "RENOwn"! |
