Hi,
Just wondering if anyone has stayed int he newly renovated Skywalk rooms at the Peppermill? They look pretty decent. They have 42" Plasma TV's. Just wondering if anyone has seen them in person.?I guess they will be staarting the tower room remodeling here really soon from what i have been told.

I wondered the same thing when we stayed there back in January. I actually thought about booking one of these rooms.
We made a trip down to the 3rd floor skywalk to check it out. I would not recommend getting one of these rooms. We peeked in one, while they were cleaning it. They were small amd threw in the nice TV, but other than that, the room looked like they tried to cheaply remodel it. The elevator down to the casino level was old and kind of rickety. And the whole wing was old smelling and cold.
Definitely stay in the tower, much nicer rooms and better views. |

I can't wait for the new tower. Those rooms sound like they're going to be nice!
I started out having a couple of good hits on Coyote Moon. It was a new penny machine. I was playing $2/spin and ended up cashing out around $250. Came back later and hit it again for $300 and $150. I was calling it may ATM machine. After that first night I couldn't hit a thing on it, as usual! Other than that, I can't recall any major wins and I was there 4 nights!
I was surprised that I didn't get more comped off. I played heavily for at least 3 days and they would only comp off two nights at $69/each and an additional $100. It really pissed me off, because the night before I left I went by the desk to check on my comps and the girl said everything "looked good", so I assumed everything would be taken care of. At check out, I was surprised that I had to come up with $200 to cover food and additional hotel nights. I went down to the desk and complained, but I knew it wouldn't really help, and it didn't. I don't think I'm going to stay there again, at least until the new tower opens. Harrahs treats me well, so I'll probably stick with them, or try the Atlantis again. |

erin,
Thats too bad that they did not comp your whole stay. Do you have any idea how much you ran thru the machines?
i will keep you posted when the tower rooms are remodelled and hopefully they will get you back staying at the Pep.

I didn't keep track of how much I ran thru, but it was a lot. I hate that the Peppermills comp system is such a mystery and I also don't like the fact that they take their room offers off your points. I don't know of any other casino that does that. It will probably be awhile before I stay there again. |
