|

Either the Pepp is doing very well or starving for business. Last month I got a mailing from them offering $80 a week in free play to be used Mon-Thurs for the weeks starting on the 3rd, 10th, 17th and 24th of November, for a total of $320
Next came $100 in free play to be used on December 6-7.
Last week, yet another bribe came in the mail. $40 a day in free play for Dec. 1-4, 8-11 and 15-18 for a total of $480. So that totals (umm, 3 x 4, plus 100, carry the 6, divide by the square root of Dec 7, subtract (lunch x 2)...yeah, that's it) $900 total. Welcome to the Peppermill's "Leave your wallet at home" promo.
Like everyone else on this board, I report free play as income to the IRS, so I'm now in a higher tax bracket, but it sure beats having major surgery. |

wISH they would send me some of those. My cash offers are gone in about 10 minutes each visit.
I need some free food offers for my next trip. They never send me those and NEVER comp me a meal. Last trip I had a measly 5 bucks on the bill for food and they wouldn't comp it.
Enjoy the liberal "freebies". |

I know they are going after customers with deep pockets and that like to throw money around.
Peppermill found out that you are the largest shareholder of VisitReno.com, which is well known as having a large positive cash flow.
The free play is just a way for them to get you into the casino, spend a little of their money, and then spend a lot of your money. |

Wow, thats alot of free play. I hope you take advantage of it John. Guess it pays to be a local. They are hoping you will come in and spend more and more. |

You're right, Swede. At 6' 4" and 280 lb. I'm not only the largest shareholder in visitreno.com, but the only one. The total number of visitreno.com's staff, including sales, research, marketing, support, web development and beer procurement is, sadly, one.
As for the positive cash flow, well I'm positive I had some cash before the Vegas trip and the rest flowed to the landlord, phone company, Sierra Pacific Power Company, Ben's Liquor and Bambi, my...err...friend.
And be assured that my commitment to come out money ahead in this free play frenzy is exceeded only by my penchant for fooling myself. |

Hawk, if you take a closer look, you'll find I'm not overweight. I'm merely short for my weight. |

John, if you take a look from MY perspective, then 6' 4" is not short, no matter what your weight.
Anyway you cut it, 280# looks good on you. |
