Hello, hope everyone is doing well. No new trip reports or anything, just wanted to pop in and say hi. I'll be heading to Surfers Paradise, Gold Coast Australia in a couple of weeks and am going to be hitting a few different casinos in Queensland and New South Wales. Send me a PM if you'd like any chips, cards, dice, etc. from down under!

I have no use for foreign chips, cards, dice or money, but there is something I'd pay you to bring back. Please try to grab a Sulphur Crested Cockatoo for me. They run wild in the wooded habitats of Australia and are found in some cities, such as Sydney.
Thanks for giving me the bird. I hope you have an amazing trip. |

You may want to check Open Vegas as they have a number of posters from AUS. |

hey thanks everybody! As it turned out, I went through major hell getting my passport renewed thanks to the post office here. LONG story short, it didn't make it in time - even using a very costly expeditor service - so I had to wind up rebooking everything. Now leaving on Fri Aug 16th. It worked out in my favor, because now I have a 5 hour layover in Reno on my way to LAX so it looks like another trip to the Pep is in the lineup. A prime rib dinner at the Coffee Shop along with win or two would be nice as it's been a wild ride so far (what else is new?)
So far it looks like Australia is full of multiliners, all the Aristocrat machines in particular, so we'll see how it goes.
I'll post a TR when I get outta the Pep. Here comes another crazy vacation!

Hopefully you'll hit a jackpot! From what I understand they're not taxable over there. |
