A couple of weeks ago, the Pep sent me an email reminding me to pick up my free chocolate bunny and plastic Easter egg on April 1. The egg contains free play up to $500. My egg had a slip for $500 in free play, but the sign on the redemption counter said platinum cardholders (that's me) get double their free play. Diamond cardholders got 4X their free play.
Armed with $1,000 of their money, I hit the casino like a WMD. High roller for an hour - $5 video poker hands instead of the usual $1 and max bet on the penny slots and cashing out when the win got to $100 - $200. When the smoke cleared, I had just under $800 in winnings without investing a cent of my own money.
Since I'm used to watching others get the big prize, this was quite a thrill for me. Too bad the FP had to be used that day, or I could have spread my glory out for almost a week.
Oh, thank heaven for free play. |

Nice work! See, it paid off to hang around the region all these years.
Did Charlie and Higgins demand that the winnings be immediately converted into birdseed? |

$1,000 in free play AND a chocolate Bunny? Sweet!! It is always nice to gamble away with money you did not pull out of your wallet. I have done those envelopes where you can get $5 to $1,000 in free play, and always seem to get the duds.. $5. Glad to hear you got the good one. |

Yay Platinum Man!!
Save a little for my upcoming visit. We have a losing streak to break. OK yeah, I had a good win last time but you weren't there. I couldn't even brag about it until the next day. |

Dave and John,
You belie my firm belief that Peppermill Wins is an oxymoron. |

They heard me bragging over the phone before I went out. When I got home, there were brochures for fancy cages and bird toys spread out all over the floor.

I know the feeling, Swede. That's how it normally goes for me. A month ago, I put over 800 tickets in the Sunday drawing and went home with nothing. This win was a huge surprise. The bunny was dark chocolate, my favorite. He has gone to bunny heaven, poor bunny.

Oh boy, I'd rather have free play than have Heather Locklear come to my house and...well, maybe not.

Better get here quick. I'm getting itchy to go back and win more

Great hit, Excellent Leader!!
Can I borrow a few bucks when I come down over the 4th of July?
There's a bluegrass festival the following week as well.
Please don't tell the paparazzi or the police I'm coming then. |

Of course you can borrow some money, JD. I'll work up an interest rate just for you.
Your reputation precedes you. The paparazzi and police already know you're coming to town. They're waiting at Shooters.
Give me a call when you get here. |

I just wrote a long reply and it went into hyper-space>8356%#@())*(
oH, wELl, GEE, I am really screwed up here.
I wanted to say that, during my hiatus, this board has deteriorated. John, a local boy, takes a ONE MILE TRIP and it becomes major news. The visitreno board deserves better.
But, John Boy (no Walton here) I am happy for you. Since we are CO-MODS, I expect my loan to be interest free and non-payable except in the event of my death it can come out of my estate.
See you soon. Just don't tell BCD when I am coming to town. And don't tell Jerry either cause he'll have all those broads hitting on me. It embarrasses me to turn them down. But, hey, I risk no comparisons.
And, John, ask Jerry to wear his new t-shirt when he next comes to town. |

BCD, I heard from J about your problem with the PMs. Sorry, like my previous message here, it is floating somewhere in cyberspace. Only the Feebs can find that stuff. But, hey, I did look for it.
(Well, John could likely find it too cause "He is the MAN"....) |

Wow! $500 AND it was doubled?! You have restored my faith in the possibility of actually ever hitting an "UP TO $500" whatever. I thought they were as real as the, well, Easter bunny.... |

I thought the same thing. I figured they had 20,000 $5 tickets and 2 for $500. Interestingly enough, one of the girls at the passport counter told me of a diamond player who had his $500 win quadrupled to $2,000. Now, how much do you have to lost to attain a diamond level? Probably more than $2,000. I hate to think what my platinum card cost. |
