Found this old aerial photo through yahoo image search. For ancient Reno buffs it can be quite interesting. Circus Circus and Eldorado are minature. A brand new Fitz is gleaming just over Harrah's tower. The Sahara (Flamingo, Golden Pheonix) is under construction. The Comstock is brand new and only about 7 or 8 floors. The Kings Inn was open and the Sands was building it's first tower. The Mapes, Riverside, and many others were in full swing.

I guess there must have been a freeway closing accident on I-80....I see almost a dozen vehicles on the normally jammed highway.
