erininsd asked where bullys is. it is at the meadow mall>?.
they have great food, nice tall glasses of coors light too.
Another place to eat is pegs eggs, it is just a couple of blocks off the main drag, it is only open for breakfast and lunch i believe, but it beats every buffet or casino place by far, and i have tried them all.
I have heard that bthere is a long line on the weekends though.

Where is Meadows Mall? I'm not trying to be a smart ass, but Reno's growing so much, I'm not sure of all the different names of the strip malls. Are you talking about the Bully's off Mt. Rose Hwy?
Pegs is awesome! We've been trying to make it back there for breakfast, but always seem to just eat in the hotel. They do get crowded on the weekends. |

I'm sure he means Meadowood Mall, at South Virginia and McCarran. There's been a Bully's there for a year or so. There are 4 or 5 locations in Reno and one in Carson City. We eat at one near our neighborhood a lot, mostly for the convenience factor. The food is good, but typical bar fare, and the ambience is your basic sports bar.
Peg's is very good. When there's a backlog they give you a pager so you can step outside and not miss your turn.
Another good place (at least on weekends, I've never been there on a weekday morning) is Ed's Alley Inn on East Fourth Street. It's a seedy neighborhood and an older bar, but breakfast has always been great. |

I had no idea there was a Bully's at Meadowood...boy Reno sure is changing! I remember when the only one was in the Northwest, off of Mae Anne/McCarran. |
