You know what, i did see this game. I think my friend briefly played it. I think there was one right by the Hebreaker 2 machine that i saw. Duh!! I guess i had a few too many to realize that was "the game" that i was looking out for. |

Alison,
nice pictures, sorry you didn't bring back my money, know how you feel when the money goes in, and nothing comes back out. but hopefully you had a nice trip to Reno.
I tried my luck again in Las Vegas this past week Aug 1 thru Aug 5th,
sorry to say, but I kept leaving money at each casino. The biggest amount that I won was $137.00 playing video Poker, got a royal flush, after that no more winnings. Since my wife and I were losing, we decided to do something with our money and get something for it, We went to see a movie "Bourne Ultramatum". kill couple of hrs and didn't lose any $$
Each day went and checked out different Casinos, Rios, Main Station, Sam town, Planet Hollywood, Green Valley Ranch casino and RedRock Casino. also Primm Valley Casino that is 45 mins outside of Las Vegas, and yes, My wife did win $38.00 prior to us going home, it would have been a long drive home, had she not win something. 12 hrs drive. |

Hi Alison,
Did you notice if they still have the mountain by the pool? I think I saw where they had torn it down. Also, do you know if they have started construction on the new pool?
Better luck next time on the gambling. |

Barb,
The Fitz seemed the same to me. No big chaged. They did have that one area near the Eldorado closed. You know where they had the statue and i believe an elevator or escalator up??
Tatterdema:
I think the mountain was still somewhat up. It did not appear that they had started building the new pool area yet.

Sorry to hear you too did not have much of a winning trip in Vegas. I know how that feels. |

Wait a minute - the walkway entrance to the Fitz is closed??!!! I mean, I know it's not really necessary anymore what with the train trench finally operational, but it was such an institution!
No more walkway museum? But I loved that thing! It was such an integral part of my system of downtown perambulation every time I stayed in town! It had achieved the status of ritual!
Oh, well, I guess that's the price of progress - do they at least still have a forlorn individual wearing the Irish-themed hat and jacket handing out the promotional flyers outside??? |

I just read your trip report. Loved the pictures. Two gals set loose at the Peppermill with unlimited drinks? No wonder your friend was not feeling too good the whole trip.
That was probably a good idea to leave out all the embarrassing stories. Did you head over to the Cabaret and listen to some of the live music? One of my favorite things to do at the Pepp. |

Oh yeah we always hang out by the Cabaret. Sometime the bands make us laugh. They can be highly entertaining after a few drinks. |
