Did ya ever notice, like Clark Kent and Superman...you NEVER see both of them at exactly the same time? |

Truly an enigma shrouded in mystery wrapped in a conundrum. Do they both exist? Do they both occupy the same space at the same time? Are they aliens who have come to Earth to reveal an amazing new diet plan? Or maybe they reside in the fourth dimension...we may never know the secrets of these mysterious strangers who walk among us. All I can tell you for sure is they're both a hell of a lot of fun to hang out with. |

Thanks to all of you who claim to have "missed me". I appreciate that. No one here at home seems to "miss me" unless you count the guy on the grassy knoll with the 30.06. But he ain't giving up so I only go out at night.
I haven't been on the board cause I'm snowed in and can't get to Reno. Thus I prefer not to think about what I'm missing. If I had transportation, weather permitting, I'd be on the way right now.
For those concerned that Jerry may have transitioned to Softball Heaven, I can tell you that I had a beer with him around Christmas time. Beyond that, who knows (except maybe "The Shadow Knows").
Now my Mom always told me, "Son, if you don't have anything good to say, then just don't say anything". So, I haven't had anything worthwhile to post to the boards.
But, still, I have missed you all. Thanks again for remembering me. I really do appreciate the friends I have made on this board. |

Good to hear from you! Sorry you're getting a little of our Canuck weather there. We're having a local global warming event here in Vancouver. It's been the mildest and maybe dampest, January around here in a long time
Only problem with that is, our fair city is playing host to the Winter Olympics in three weeks. |

Interstate closed yesterday around Mt Shasta. Passes closed. Two feet of new snow.
I am hunkered down for the winter.
My bus chaufferess (?) finally advertised a bus trip to Reno but it is not for two months. By then, I can likely drive it. Earlier, I'd sign up.
OTOH, the casinos seem to be forgetting me. The offers trickle in slower than usual and not up to standards. oh well, they are losing money by not "hosting" me. |
