FYI, the annual summit meet of the BOD has taken place tonight.
As per usual, the gurus met at the Far Side. Momentous decisions were made as usual with this elite board of narrow minded directors.
Stockholders of Visit Reno were NOT invited to attend this exclusive enclave. But you will be affected by the results of decisions made at the conference.
Singing (but no dancing), laughing, lies told, and suggestive remarks were in abundance. The emphasis though was on scarfing down free appetizers and guzzling large amounts of cheap imports.
More info may come down the pipe later.
Then again it may not.
In the interest of national interest and fairness, the sexual balance was perfect.
I much look forward to the next annual (or semi-annual, or quarterly, or even AD HOC) meeting of this select group who has the very best interests of every member of this board as their uppermost goal. (Or maybe not).
Cheers, Prost, Salut, Sayonara, Arrividerci, or whatever.
LIFE IS VERY GOOD. DO NOT EVER FORGET THAT. CHERISH EACH MOMENT YOU ARE GIVEN. |

Jerry,
Thanks for the report, but I have a question about the remark that "the sexual balance was perfect." Does that mean you didn't fall off? |

Remano, I think it means he didn't fall ON.
I was a very productive meeting. The Peppermill scored big time. |

I hope there is more to come, as it was just getting good. Glad to hear the meeting was productive. I checked the Reno police blotter and no mention of the meeting- that is good. However, the paper was full of election junk, so it may show up later.
As far as the sexual balance I think (reading between the lines) that it must have been a hormone imbalance that has been treated with medication. Check with Dr. Oz for further information. |

I'd like to file a motion to amend the shareholder proxy to reflect the following rules:
"The board shall meet at such time and location as decided by the board over several Heinekens and/or Fat Tire Ales at the Fireside lounge at the Peppermill, from whence the business of the board may be conducted at the leisure of the board management and/or president, as determined by what members are present and imbibe sufficient beers as to determine their vote by a show of beer"
All in favor?
Dang crickets.... |

JD, help please.
The Mormon Crickets have taken over Stan's computer and are chirping out unintelligle rubbish. Not in keeping with the normal high standards of the postings on this board.
Wow, great meet this past week though with the board. Wish that more of you "stockholders" could have attended.
Decorum was exemplary (that's for Stan).
The Fat Tires and Heinies were likewise exemplary.
And did I remember to mention the wonderful sexual balance. (Wow, seatbelts on barstools are great). |

Exemplary Decorum?! Right up my alley!
I'm sure that the decorum that prevailed was well within the attributes imposed by the beer of directors, and that the business of the board was conducted in a highly transparent manner - in other words, cheers!
Good times...I've still got to get up there one more time before the year ends! I'll put it to a shareholder vote...I'm pretty sure Charlie and Higgins will have my back, quite literally. |

Treasurer's Report: We're broke
New Business: We're going to win next time
Meeting adjourned to the bar! |

The meeting was IN THE BAR. So to adjourn, we had to go into the casino.
BTW, the new horses ovaries were pretty good in the Far Side. But maybe they put on a special feed for the Board of Directors.
BCD had about twelve of the ovaries, then went to the coffee shop. |
