This could be an interesting post because of the variables price, property, location and of course rates, especially when it may be at a busy time or the promo covers a long period. |

Siena sent me an email offering second night free - $89 weekdays and $99 weekends for a deluxe room. Stay over any Friday night and get a 2 for 1 prime rib special and a free bottle of wine. EB012SN
Also, a luxury suite including $50 in free play for $99 weekdays and $109 weekends with the same Friday night offer. EBG012GG
The Friday night prime rib special is an ongoing offer whether you get a room of not, queen cut for two is $24.95. king cut for two is $28.95.
And an interesting offer I've never seen before: Show them your upper level card from other casinos and they'll instantly upgrade your account to that level. |

Didn't I see a while back, that one of the downtown casinos offered to MATCH any offer from another nearby casino?
I just did a quick search but could not find it.
I think it might have been Harrah's that (at least at one time) if you brought in an offer of a free night at ONE casino...they would match it.
Anyone? |

JD- I am not sure if this is what you are thinking about, but Boomtown had that offer at one time. It has been gone for a few years now. I tried to book it one time, but failed. I called to book my match offer, but they asked for my slot card number. I had none at that time. I volunteered to sign up first thing when I arrived...no good. You had to prebook a room and you have to have a slot card to prebook. Catch 22?
Speaking of Boomtown, I spent a night there a couple of weeks ago. The rooms are very nice, and the video poker is great. They have a bank of full pay games (some over 100%) at quarter and nickel level. They also have 8/5 bonus poker with a three way progressive. Quarters at one bar and dollars at another bar. I had the sea bass special at the steakhouse and it was great. They even gave me a coupon for $1off per gallon at their Chevron station. |

$ 1 a gallon off? Not as nice as a free room...but pretty good.
I used to LOVE Boomtown.
They had those two jets that you could fly free if you flashed something like $ 250. Sometimes an overnight, sometimes a red eye turnaround. Then they sold the jets to Elko.
And a bunch of my favs from the old Comstock ended up there.
I'm on my way in a couple of days....I gotta check them out.
I think I have a paper slot card from them....maybe 15 years old.
Maybe THAT'LL get a special treatment? (not likely) |
