OK... clearly it's up to ME to get a topic going... that's going to stir up some controversy.
So here is your FIRST quiz question.
Which of the following restaurants has the HIGHER "Health Department Food Facility Rating" Score?
A. ANY SILVER LEGACY RESTAURANT ( STERLINGS, PEARL OYSTER, FRESH FOOD EXPRESS, BUFFET or CAFE CENTRAL) ?
OR
B. ANY CAL NEVA RESTAURANT (TOP DECK, COPPER LEDGE or PASTA SHOPPE ITALIAN EATERY or SPORTS BOOK SNACK BAR)?
And TOMORROW, we'll ask how Harrah's Steakhouse stacks up:

Oh, I'm into "Playing", but I have *zero* data to even to take a stab at guessing which restaurants the "health department" gives higher marks to ....I was just waiting for you to provide the "answers", which you've done, so we can now have a collective gasp at the results...
Although I, for one, am delighted. Is it anymore disputed that Cal-Neva rules Reno??? |

It really is nice, being proved right all the time about Cal-Neva.
I could scarcely imagine the encomiums to be even more forthcoming, but the hits just keep on comin'!
JD, turn those letters around, and become a "DJ" long enough to play "Celebration" in honor of Cal-Neva's (latest) honor. |

OK I'm a little late on this one, but I have no doubts that Cal Neva got straight 100s. I also am not the least bit surprised regarding the ratings of the SL restaurants and even the Steakhouse at Harrah's - that's the one place I've heard has gone downhill over the years, not the happenin' place it once was.
I've been at the Grill at Cal Neva during their most peak periods, and even then, couldn't get over how shiny it all was, not to mention it's been manned by only one person per shift these days.
Truly a case of older+simpler=better!
