I'm heading to Reno soon and I noticed that both the Peppermill and Atlantis are running minor slot tournaments for the time I will be there. There's enough info on the Pep's tourney to get me started (and interested), but the one for the Atlantis is awfully sparse. This is the link. They're having another tournament this coming Sunday and Monday that looks exactly the same; this is the link to that one.

They say to call for more information, but I can't imagine they'd want to be bothered by questions about such a little tournament. So I'm asking you guys:

How much does it cost to enter?
Does the entry fee include the dinner at the end?
Where's the dinner? What's on the menu?
    How many places are paid?
    What are the prizes?
Can I swap tourney times if I don't like them?

That should be enough. The Atlantis probably has run tournaments like this before, perhaps many times before, that you guys may have entered. I don't expect anything to be different this time around, so if you could tell me about those, it would really help me.

Thanks for sharing.

I absolutely love the name "Pull Party" - and it's even got a swimming pool backdrop! That's good stuff.

This quote just below the phone number provides some clues:

"Prize money based on a minimum of 475 entries. Tournament times may vary based on number of entries."

Which kinda tells us that the answer to some of the questions may well be: "It depends".

I believe that the invitation to call for more info absolves you of any "bothering" of the staff- they want people to call!

But, we should probably hear from other users who have actually participated in such events for an idea of what to expect....Lily, where are you??

I got the mail flyer, wouldn't count on it being at the pool. My cost is
249.00 with a room, 149.00 with out. pay out is 10K for first. $25 freeplay
for 185th. The awards Presentation is at 6pm on the 19th, the last
few I attended was just cake and what ever at the Peppermill. But don't know what at the AT. Oh plus $5,000 in hot seat
prizes. (awarded in free slot play.) Wish the news was better!
