Not going to make it this year but we expect a trip report.
Typically, they will sell a "tasting" book of tickets. But the popular entries often have a long line. I usually prefer just to buy what looks good rather than a very small sample of many entries.
There's likely going to be live music at Red Dog, maybe Ponderosa (sometime is karaoke) and lately downstairs at the Red Light Lounge. See if "Lady & the Tramps" is playing at night.

Thanks JD for the local knowledge. On my way for one night at the Atlantis in Reno, and two nights in V.C. for the Chili Cook-off. |

Oh...and during the day from 2-6 or so....there will be David John & the Comstock Cowboys playing (free) inside the Bucket of Blood. When this band plays at the Nugget in Sparks, they get a $ 25 cover charge.
Where are you staying overnight in VC? |
