|
|
Hey,
I was wondering how many O'Lucky Bucks you usually earn on a trip for those of you who are getting the mailers for free room or $75.00 Limericks? They still have the dinner at Limericks don't they?
I just played there on my last trip and am hoping ot get back on their mailers for the room/dinner. Just curious what level of play you need to be at.
Thanks,
Alison |

Allison, I play lots more than my daughter and have a couple hundred points but my daughter only goes once a year and has maybe less than 25 points but still gets the offers. Barb |

I have the same situation as Barb, my o'lucky dollars are usually between 1 and 2 hundred, my daughter hasn't gone over 25, yet we both get the basic offers, with a few extra for me. Their rules say you need to maintain 25 to keep the offers coming, however, my daughter continues to get them even under the 25!
Once you get over 75 dollars, it's easier to stay there since they match the o'lucky dollars, dollar for dollar. They also give you an extra weekend a year, and some other freebie weekends occasionally.
We usually earn 50 to 100 o'lucky dollars a 2 day trip. |

it would take an awful lot of play to earn $25.00 in o lucky bucks? Are you guys sure about the amount you are earning?? I showed 506 but thats actually $5.06
Are you guys forgetting theres a decimal in there?? LOL
You can check your balance online on their website as well. Did you two know that?
For $35.00 you earn a Waterford Crystal Bowl. Have you guys picked up any of the rewards? |

the main reason we earned so much was we usually take family with us and they use one of our cards, we then use the cards to buy the buffets for everyone (4 o'lucky dollars a buffet), so the family benefits too. When we go alone, we earn about 25 a day (6 hours) but that's really only 1/2 that, due to their doubling it, and both R and I playing on the account, so about the same pace as you're doing alone.
I haven't done the crystal because I would then have to dust it at home, and I want to keep our o'lucky dollars high enough so they keep doubling them! |

You cheater you!! That explains it. Arent you afraid of someone hitting a jackpot while using your card and them saying something about
In the past i have only played and earned a couple $$ there, but i still managed to get the free room/food offers. THis actually is probably the most I have ever earned there. I usually am only in there for an hour or so. |

Not really, it doesn't matter what card is in the player's slot, the jackpot is based on who is playing the machine at the time. Sometimes non-card players play along with an inactive card left behind by the forgetful, so they have to pay regardless of what's in there. Now for those places that pay a jackpot based on the card (like Atlantis or Station casinos) we don't spread them around! Also, some casinos don't really care that you hand them out to family members, since you're bringing them in and they're spending money.
I'm also starting to have the family get their own lately, since it's becoming more often that we're all meeting there, so they can get their own offers now that we've seen them offer them for very few points! |

I know people leave cards in the machine all the time. You can always play stupid i guess.
I wonder if the Peppermill cares? |

I've heard that some Harrah's locations have given extra cards FOR the family members, not sure which ones. ...don't know about Peppermill...maybe someone else has this info? I can't be the only "con"! |

The Peppermill will give you extra cards in the event you want to play more than one machine at a time. I've given mine to friends who don't want a card of their own. BC Dave used my card when he was helping me accumulate points toward a platinum card. YouDaMan, Dave! |

Allison, I have many Waterford vases and have given them as presents too. I sometimes check my balance on line. I use my points when we go and get 2 free nites and I add on one more off my points so I have 3 free nites. I think you will get the free offers again after being there Barb |

What? Huh? Somebody mention my name? I'm dragging myself thru my usual summer workathon. But hey, John, I'm always happy to help you earn a couple of extra Mr. O'Peppy bucks!
I'll be down in the Fall to help you gather a few more.
