If you don't have a slot club card at the Sands, it might be worth it to get a card. They will put $5 on your card for the sign up, but there is a much better deal. If you earn 1,000 points on your card the first day, they will give you $50 in free play. $1 = 1 point. I play quarter video poker, and it took me about 90 minutes to get the 1,000 points.
So- I got $55.00 in free play after playing about 90 minutes. Not a bad deal. |

Under previous ownership, allowing them to photocopy your ID was a condition of obtaining a player's card. Hopefully, Terrible's has more respect for customer privacy. |

On the contrary, when I asked if I needed a new slot card, they said, "...no problem..." Then they took my photo while standing in front of the club booth before I even knew it.
Don't much like all the information the Sands collects (and likely sells). |

So now your photo is in their database. They didn't give you a chance to opt out before taking the photo? Truly disgusting.
Other sleazy casino operators who try to pull this stunt include Lakeside Inn in South Tahoe and Wynn Las Vegas. Be alert, and JUST SAY NO. |
