I like to enter on line contests for rooms, or whatever else they will give away. This site is the best with 3 free room winners (Boomtown, El Dorado and Sands), and one show deal. I have not won although I enter each month. I believe someone mentioned in a trip report about winning free rooms, and I am sure people do win.
I have entered the Peppermill on line contest for $50 for several years, but no luck. I see Atlantis has a contest, but you have to have a slot card to enter, and I do not have one yet.
Who else in the Reno area has an on line contest?
I have won a few. Many years ago when only 1500 people nationwide were hooked up to the internet , I won the free room deal at Circus Circus Reno---twice. Last year I won the top prize at the Edgewater in Laughlin.= 2 free nites in a spa suite, and $200 dining credits. That was a nice one!! It is not like I really need any more free room offers, but the idea of winning a contest is a great feeling.
Anyone else had luck winning on line contests? |

CAswede, keep on entering. A couple of years back, I found this board, entered and won 2 free nights at the Sands (they honored weekend nights too). That was my first real trip to Reno! The only other ones I know about outside the board are at the Peppermill, Atlantis, and Horizon Lake Tahoe (I've been trying on that one for years too, with no luck). If I see anything new lurking about this weekend, I'll let you know.
72 hours and counting...

I doubt they even have a drawing. I got a spam from them a few years back stating if I put a link to their site on mine, I'd be entered in a drawing for a $50 gift certificate at the Pep. I replied stating I had links all over visitreno.com and asked if I had won. A few days later I got an envelope in the mail with a letter saying I didn't win the drawing, but the enclosed $50 gift certificate was a thank you for all I had done for them.
I suppose that's a win of sorts. |

I am going to bring back up this old post.
I am happy to report that I won two free nights and tickets to the show at the Sands from Visitreno.com
I used them a couple of weeks ago and had a great time!
Thanks Visitreno.com |

I am living proof there are winners in the weekly $50 Pep drawing. I used mine to treat some friends at the Friday night seafood buffet. |

THAT Pep questionnaire takes longer to fill out than it does to drive to Reno -0---- even with all the road construction.
I did one recently for Eldo and it is the same thing.
In fairness for my time, they should let me win one sometime. But, as for now, I aint agonna waste my time. |

Bob- You won the Peppermill contest? I have entered that one for about 3 years every week- nothing. I thought I was one of your friends, but I did not get invited to the dinner. Next time - right?
Jerry- the Peppermill entry is only four lines. However, the one on this site is a long one, but you can do 4 contests at once. My computer cookies remember my information, so at least I do not have to plug it in each month. |

Yeah, Swede, the entry form is longer than most. I had to offer the casinos more information about what people are interested in to get them to participate. I'm glad you like the cookies I put on the page. A word of caution ... if you enter the page and leave without entering the contest, the cookies will be gone and you'll have to enter the information again the next time you sign up for the drawings. |
