On the 15th there is a St. Patrick's Day parade in Virginia City, followed by their world famous mountain oyster festival. There is usually a pub crawl and street dance along Wells Avenue but I'm not sure of the details yet. I'm sure Fitzgerald's has something planned, probably all the casinos for that matter.
The 15th is also the day for the Riverwalk Merchants Association monthly wine walk. For $15 you get a wine glass and a map and you visit all the merchants in the riverwalk area, where they ply you with wine while you inspect their wares. It's not a St. Patrick's event but it's a nice way to spend an afternoon if the weather cooperates. |
