I talked to GM at the Siena recently and he said you were a "loser".
Well, I replied, "Isn't that why you invite us all?"
Just kidding, JD.
But I still find things mysterious there. I seem to be a combination of VIP and scuzzball, depending on who is making the offer.
First they stripped me of my Gold card and busted me down to buck private with no benefits. But they left my wife at Bronze.
My offers are still very good for parties, tourneys, special eveents, but I am a nobody on my slot card.
Now, this week, my wife gets a letter congratulating her on earning a Bronze card, good thru Jun 08. I get nothing. Yet, each time we go, I put through 4-5 times as much money as does she.
Ah, Einstein once said that the mysteries of life were a wonderful thing. |

|

Dear Mr. Anwar Masud:
It has come to my attention you recently characterized me as "... a loser...".
Alas, I must confess, it's true.
I lose at gambling, investments, at my work and lose in love. (LOSE NOT LOOSE!). In fact, my trips to Reno are intended to be distractions from my long list of things I lose at. This includes my losing habit of ending sentences with prepositions. (THAT'S PREPOSITIONS NOT PROPOSITIONS !)
I currently do my gambling losing at other casinos that seem to be ever so appreciative of my losing at THEIR casino.
In fact, I'm just about the biggest loser since I watched the Egyptian Army start the Yom Kippur War. (START NOT FINISH !) Lucky for me, I had a front row seat. Unluckily, it only lasted 20 days.
Thanks again for that "complimentary" $ 95 bottle of Jack Daniels.
Maybe we can do it again sometime.
JD
PS: Say hi to "Reno's Best Bartender"

JD, good reply. I enjoyed.
as for the income tax thingy, you'll have to ask John. He's the income tax expert.
Keep losing. That way I'll get more offers as the casinos continue to do well. I just my annual statement from Pep and it was ugly =much uglier than I had expected. No wonder they invited me to the opeining of the Tuscan Suites and then invited me back.
Alas, no transportation, so I cannot go back even though I was given a 3 day pass by my C.O. (guess who that is now after decades of marriage). |
